Derek Sloan Promoted to Vice-President, Sales & Training

Sym-Tech Dealer Services is pleased to announce the promotion of Derek Sloan to Vice President, Sales and Training.

Derek brings over 22 years of automotive industry experience to his new role. Prior to his 7-year tenure with Sym-Tech Dealer Services, Derek enjoyed broad-reaching responsibilities as General Manager of a multi-store dealership and as a dealership Owner/Operator. During his time at Sym-Tech, Derek has made significant contributions to the launch of Sym-Tech’s training and development program and the building of our field training team.

Derek will assume the senior leadership role in Sym-Tech’s Learning and Development Centre (LDC) while maintaining responsibility for managing Sym-Tech’s Sales and Training team in Central and Eastern Canada.

Using state-of-the-art tools, best-in-class facilitators, and proven effective training methods, the LDC team provides Sym-Tech associates and automotive dealership staff with industry leading training and development for the competitive challenges of the automotive industry.
