With an emphasis on delivering performance, he is dedicated to ensuring that our dealer partners achieve success and incremental growth in their businesses.
Through exceptional executive mentorship and broad industry connections, Chris has successfully steered ventures to acknowledged market leadership in North America for more than 35 years.
Chris has a proven track record of executive leadership and is a passionate leader with strong community ties. He has sat on many corporate and community boards, including technology and service companies, multiple Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Boards and MaRS Discovery District, where he serves as an Advisor.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Toronto as well as a CPA, CA designation.
As Executive Assistant, Kelly is responsible for acting as liaison between key executives within the organization as well as managing and organizing important projects and events for the company.
Kelly brings over 18 years of experience working with high level executives. Kelly possesses an unprecedented level of dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm for Sym-Tech.
Before working at Sym-tech, Kelly worked as an Executive Assistant at both Grand & Toy and Arrow Electronics.
As CEO, Brad Wells has been instrumental in the growth and development of Sym-Tech Dealer Services for over 20 years.
Brad’s role is to provide the vision and direction for Sym-Tech Dealer Services as we drive towards the future. With a focus on delivering Dealer success, new product development, and market expansion, Brad’s leadership is the driving force behind the overall direction of the company. Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a member of TEC and Young Entrepreneur Organization.
As Vice President Strategic Initiatives, Brad is responsible for overall management and operations of Sym-Tech Financial Services.
Brad brings over 20 years of senior management experience to the Sym-Tech team. Brad worked at BIC (Canada) for almost 14 years as President and COO. He developed strong international skills as Country Manager for BIC Australia and New Zealand. In all of his roles, Brad built a strong team culture which led to impressive growth.
Brad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University, as well as a CPA, CA designation.
As Executive Vice President, Lindsay is responsible for execution of Sym-Tech’s Product, Marketing, OEM and Dealer Group initiatives.
Lindsay brings more than 35 years of sales, operations, financial services and general management experience in the U.S and Canada. Lindsay has worked for IBM Canada, IBM Credit, Mercedes-Benz Credit, BMW Financial Services, BMW Canada and Jaguar Land Rover Canada. Lindsay served as Director & Chairman of the Global Automakers of Canada (GAC) and has held board/committee positions for the Rotman School of Business, Automotive Business School of Canada and Holy Trinity School.
Lindsay holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Co-op) from Wilfrid Laurier University.
As Vice President, Marketing and Communications, Robin Powell is responsible for delivering compelling Marketing, Product and PR solutions that create positive customer experiences while supporting profitable F&I growth for Dealers, OEMs and Sym-Tech.
To complement his comprehensive marketing and digital communications background, Robin brings to the Sym-Tech team over 15 years of cross-divisional executive experience that will be utilized to identify trends and optimize opportunities to further strengthen Sym-Tech’s position as the leader within the competitive Canadian F&I landscape.
In 2008, Robin received his Master’s in Business Management from Athabasca University and has since completed Shulich’s “e-Marketing Strategies for Success” program.
As Vice President, Customer Experience and Operations, Annie is responsible for ensuring that Sym-Tech delivers a seamless and exceptional experience to dealers, OEM clients and customers. This encompasses all customer and dealer support, warehouse operations and claims administration.
Bringing more than 20 years of automotive industry experience to Sym-Tech, Annie built her career at Volvo, Mazda and Hyundai with increasingly more responsible positions in sales, network development, fixed operations and customer experience. Most recently, she was the Director of Customer Service at Hyundai Auto Canada.
Annie graduated from the University of Quebec in Montreal, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management Accounting. She also has a Parts & Service Management Certification from Northwood University. She is fluently bilingual.
As CFO, Geoff is providing financial leadership and operational excellence to drive responsible business growth at Sym-Tech. He oversees reporting, risk management, compliance and the treasury functions of the company.
With over 20 years of senior financial experience, Geoff’s background complements Sym-Tech’s business model. He has held executive finance roles in both insurance and automotive industries where he developed senior-level business acumen and operational expertise required to grow the company. Geoff holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University and a CPA, CA designation.
As CIO, Ben is responsible for implementing strategic IT vision and managing Sym-Tech’s technology needs.
Ben Draper has over 20 years’ experience with various industries and government agencies with a strong focus in the financial, insurance and technology sectors.
Ben’s impressive career has focused on high performance teams and organizational results within the information technology arena, including IBM, Zurich Insurance and Validus Holdings. Ben has deep international expertise in the U.S., Bermuda and U.K. He has successfully demonstrated his ability to ‘simplify the complex’ and produce creative business driven IT solutions.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Alana is a strategic advisor to the executive team focused on building and driving the strategy and execution for all HR Program and Culture initiatives that support Sym-Tech’s business priorities.
Alana has over 15 years of experience in effectively leading Human Resource functions in both the automotive and financial industries. She has successfully partnered with the business in developing people solutions that enable the achievement of organizational strategic objectives. Alana holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo and is a Certified Human Resource Leader (CHRL).
As Vice President Sales, Royce is responsible for managing Sym-Tech’s field sales team, managing front end sales as well as developing and executing sales strategies and initiatives.
Royce has over 30 years of automotive and senior leadership experience. He brings team leadership, sales management and training expertise as well as exceptional dedication to driving dealership F&I performance.
Royce’s extensive automotive and finance & insurance background includes 13 years at JM&A Group, Northern Portfolio and over a decade in the retail automotive industry.
Royce is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he studied Business, Computer Science and Business Psychology.
As Vice President, Sales and Training, Derek is responsible for leading Sym-Tech’s Sales teams in Eastern Ontario and Eastern Canada. Additionally, he and his Learning and Development team are responsible for the creation and delivery of F&I industry training content nationally to automotive specialists and Sym-Tech employees alike.
With over 22 years of automotive industry experience, Derek brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role at Sym-Tech. In addition to previous cross-departmental Sales and Management dealership roles, Derek previously operated as a General Manager at a multi-dealership group and as a Partner of an automotive dealership.
Derek is fluently Bilingual. His educational background includes the Automotive Program at Georgian College and Marketing at York University.
As Vice President for Western Ontario and Western Canada, Chris is responsible for driving dealer performance within his division, setting and achieving business objectives and actively participating in new business acquisition.
Chris brings with him over 15 years of experience in the automotive field. Prior to joining Sym-Tech, Chris built an impressive resume with experience in dealership operations, creditor insurance, re-insurance, manufacturing and logistics.
Chris holds a Bachelor degree in Automotive Marketing Management from Northwood University in Michigan and a Business Administration Diploma in Automotive Marketing from Georgian College.
As General Counsel, Faithlyn Hemmings leads Sym-Tech’s legal team and has overall responsibility for the legal, compliance and privacy affairs of the entire organization.
Faithlyn brings over 10 years of legal expertise to her role as General Counsel at Sym-Tech. Following her call to the bar in 2004, Faithlyn practiced law at Blaney McMurtry LLP before moving to Hyundai Canada.
Faithlyn attended the University of Windsor where she earned a B.A (with Honours) in Sociology & Psychology and later her Bachelor of Law. She graduated in the top 5% of her class and received the Law Society of Upper Canada Award for Academic Excellence.
As Controller, Lisa Huang is responsible for producing Sym-Tech’s financial reporting, accounting operations and execution of strategic plans and initiatives.
Lisa bring over 10 years of financial experience to her role as Controller for Sym-Tech. Her previous positions include work as an auditor and a controller where she gained her in-depth understanding of financial statements and developed operational finance expertise. Lisa’s practical experience and educational background allow her to effectively report on operating results, trends and capabilities.
Lisa received her Bachelor of Commerce from Beijing Wuzi University before attending the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and earning her Masters in Management and Professional Accounting from the Rotman School of Business.
